After studying mechanical engineering he began his career as a project engineer. He has taken part in the planning and delivery of hundreds of climate control projects, from industrial plants to shopping centres.
His approach
He argues that the success of a climate control system should be judged not by its initial cost alone but together with ten years of operating expenses. The rule that every project proposal must include an energy efficiency calculation was his decision.
